Bible Verse | Profit and Give

Iam the Lord your God who teaches you to profit,
who leads you by the way you should go.

Would you like to live a life of prosperity?  Well, welcome to my world. My husband and I spent years in church where it’s taught that God wants us to live a prosperous and abundant life…only no one I knew actually lived it.

We’re not just talking about money, though money is good; God uses money in His heavenly Kingdom on earth. But personally, we didn’t just need more finances, I needed better health. Many of my fellow church friends, okay…me included needed a more stable lifestyle emotionally. I admit I needed a stronger spiritual life with God as well. You name it, I know by God’s Word that He wants us to have prosperity in all areas of our lives and then share the truth of it with others. And yet, prosperity and true happiness eludes many of us. It eluded me…until now.

Welcome to Prosper and Give; a place where together, we put aside religion and look into the true love of God. Do you have questions for God? Together I’ll help you find answers. They are in His Word.

God SO loves us that He gave up His son Jesus, who himself was willing to sacrifice his life to save ours. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and set us captives free. Jesus fulfilled the laws of the Old Testament covenant given by Moses and saved us from the wrath of God’s judgement on an unbelieving nation. Today, man can get Born Again by believing Jesus as Lord, receive God’s gift…our comforter, the holy spirit and live in the fullness of life God has wanted for us all along.  Our good and loving Father wants nothing more than to have a personal relationship with you. Won’t you let Him in?

Profit and Give“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers” ( III John :2 )

What? Me, Self-Centered?

by admin on May 05, 2016

When “self” becomes the center of our lives, trouble is bound to ensue. I had to remind myself, we’re talking about “soul” life and not our spiritual life with God. In Christ Jesus we are a new creation and the old is done away with, praise God. Other people are not my problem but my attitude can be.

Seeking God’s Prosperity

by admin on October 12, 2012

What would I do if God made me rich?  I was listening in on a Church service recently and the Pastor asked this question. The answer was easy for me, because I’ve already asked myself that question.  Like most God and Christ believers…I want to be able to give more to God’s people, serve more […]

How Do you see Yourself?

by admin on April 12, 2016

Who do you believe you are? God calls you His masterpiece but the Word of God says that as a man thinks in his heart that’s who he’ll be (Proverbs 23:7). When we decide to believe God’s Word over the negatives of the world, our lives will change miraculously.

About Us

Hi, I’m Christine, and recently I, along with my husband began a “renewed” path of seeking after the wholeness and prosperity of God.  I actually thought I “had it all together” spiritually already…boy was I wrong. As I began this journey of wanting to start a blog where I can help others receive and live God’s Word in their life…all of a sudden I hit a wall of my own.  I realized, for all the Bible I know…it was all head knowledge. I went to Bible College and received a Theology degree several years ago. Afterwards I worked on staff of the College in the Finance department and had the opportunity to lead and teach God’s people.  But now that I literally sat down to write what I’ve learned and how to apply it to make your life with God better, I realized that I really wasn’t living it well enough myself TO share it!  You can’t give what you don’t have…and I was shocked to realize that, for all the head knowledge of God’s Word that I had…I wasn’t living it. Confronted with the truth that we weren’t living the “more than abundant life” that Jesus Christ came to make available to us (John 10:10) I felt a hypocrite and determined I wasn’t going to remain one.  read more
